Kevin Zmick earned a degree from Michigan State University studying Fine Arts and Graphic Design. Growing up in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Kevin took to drawing and creating at an early age, crediting much of his ability to his mother, whose creativity, and his father, who’s know-how, helped him develop his talent to problem-solve and create. Kevin came to the University with an interest in design, but before arriving at his current degree, his studies took him through coursework in psychology, philosophy, technology, and human communication.
Kevin takes this curriculum and his experience and applies it to being a designer, with unique abilities to discover creative solutions and unordinary approaches to common problems and design issues. Kevin enjoys working with clients and his ability to connect with and understand others helps him to understand and identify the needs of his clientele.
In addition to his work as a designer, Kevin enjoys sports and cycling around town, has an interest in alternative-energy and conscious-consumerism, and is an avid music listener with over 1000 albums in his collection.
In 1992, Jeff Berman began his professional career teaching computer technology to ESL (English as a second language) students at Oakland Community College. He discovered his passion for teaching people technology without having it be difficult or stressful.
A few short years later in 1994, Jeff’s passions for both photography and technology came together with the birth of digital photography. He trained his first photographer with the Kodak DCS-420, one of the first pro SLR cameras made. It weighed nearly 4 lbs (without a lens) and boasted a 1.5 megapixel image. Since then, Jeff also managed an all-digital pro lab, producing images for wedding, sports, and portrait pro photographers.
Media Graphics is proud to team with Jeff as our professional in-house printer, providing to our clients and the public a variety of formats and services such as custom printing and photographic retouching or reproductions.
